Mary of God, what Attributes sublime
This word reveals, God's Perfect Work in time;
His glorious Thought untarnished: His Alone –
'Columba Mea' - embracing all that lies
Within the reach of human sympathies.
Oh, Mystery of Holiness, in thee -
Immaculate Fair Vision - we may see
His New Creation's inwrought Entity,
His Church, His Undented, His Perfect One -
Like an Aurora stepping out of night,
Clothed with the Sun and flowing with Delight.
